In an effort to get information out to skiers, parents and associates of Rocky Mountain Nordic, we are now sending out e-newsletters. Check your inbox for updates on what's going on with Nordic skiing in the region, as well as for informative letters on what RMN is trying to do.

The inaugural season of the Colorado Cup series of nordic ski races is in the record books. Overall and age-group champions for men and women were named after tallying nine races around the state in classic, freestyle, and pursuit formats.

Tom's Terrific, a cross-country downhill event, will be held 04.01.06 at Winter Park Resort. Skiers can use the equipment of their choice to race the approximately 5km course -- though cross-country skis, as usual, are the superior choice. Click for more info: Tom's Terrific

The Crust Cup, as organized by Select Team/Steamboat coach Travis Jones, is still in the planning stages. It should go off on either 04.08-09 or 15-16. For more info, see this previous article.

 Rocky Mountain Nordic Minimize

Rocky Mountain Nordic is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the development of Cross-Country Skiing in Colorado. RM Nordic has a strong youth program encompassing over 350 young skiers and over 15 different clubs across the state. RM Nordic is working to expand the scope of its programs to provide world-class development and support structures for youth and adult skiers.

The vision of Rocky Mountain Nordic is to advance the sport of cross country skiing in the Rocky Mountain Region as a healthy lifestyle choice for people of all ability levels while developing and supporting internationally successful athletes.

It is the mission of RMN to provide educational, financial, logistical and developmental support for athletes, coaches, clubs and events in the Rocky Mountain Region and beyond.

The RM Nordic Web site provides information on the RM Nordic organization, races schedules and results, training camps, and other events.
