RMN Elite Teams - Qualification Rules Updated...

At the recent RMN Spring Meeting, the rules for qualifying for an RMN Elite Team we changed...

The RMN Elite Teams for 2007-2008 were finalized at the RMN Coaches Meeting in Aspen on Saturday, April 14th. Select Team Coach Traivs Jones came to the meeting with a proposal to change the structure of the Teams as well as the criteria for ’making the cut’. After much spirited discussion and a few tweaks to the proposal, the new rules were unanomously approved and the teams were named.

It should be noted that the rules were changed ‘mid-stream’ this year and the 2007-2008 teams have been named with the new rules. This is a step that we would normally not consider, but in this case it was less of an issue because the changes did not exclude anyone from the team who would have been named under the previously published rules.

This year, we have added an additional category, the RMN Elite Team, to the already established RMN Select and Development Teams.

Here are the New Rules... which can also be found for download in the 'info/forms' section
