J3 and younger Ski Festival at the Frisco Nordic Center - Sun. 3/18
Hello skiers and parents,
We would like to invite you to the Summit Nordic Ski Club J3 and under
festival in Frisco Colorado on Sunday March 18th. This will be a
fun filled day of events with races, skiing activities and prizes from
Swix. Activities will include, slalom course, speed trap, dodge
ball, J6 treasure hunt, tournament, and fun all age inclusive relay
race (costumes encouraged). The focus of this event is on J3 and
younger skiers, but everyone is welcome to come cheer them on and
participate in the relay race, slalom jumps and speed traps. We
hope to see you there.
Location: Frisco Nordic center. Exit I-70 on highway 9, continue
though town and turn left about ½ mile past Frisco. If you get to the
turn for the hospital, you have gone to far.
Fees: There will be a discounted $10 adult and $5 kids trail fee (6
& under ski free) for parents and family members of participants
who wish to ski. Entry fees are $12 for all participants. There will be
no charge for local participants.

7:30 – 8:30 Registration
9:30/9:40 – J3B/G 3km race Mass start Freestyle
10:00/10:10 – J4B/G 2km race Mass start Freestyle
11:00/11:10 – J5B/G 1km race Mass start Open
11:30 – J6 Treasure Hunt
Dodge ball tournament
9:00 - team sign up
9:30 – J5 tournament
10:15 – J6 tournament
11:00 – J3 Tournament
11:45 – J4 Tournament
1:00 – Zany Costume Relay Race
Slalom, Jumps, games & Speed trap
Open all day
Please email entries to giber@comcast.net with names, age, sex and club
or hometown by Wednesday 3/14. Entries accepted day of race.
