Rocky Mountain Nordic Junior Olympic Qualifying Races #7/8
Host: Crested Butte and Gunnison Junior Nordic Team
Race Location: Nordic Center, Down-Town Crested Butte (Corner of 2nd and Whiterock)
Race Distances and Disciplines:
Friday Feb 23rd. @ “The Bench”: Nordic Center: Freestyle Sprints: 1km.
Day Begins: 9:30am: Prelims: Youngest to Oldest.
J6 – J3 will be mass start events:
J2 – OJ will be prelims; quarters, semis, finals, etc. TDB #’s that advance

Saturday Feb. 24th. @ “The Bench”: Nordic Center: Interval Start: 1 every 15 sec. Classic Races
Day Begins: 9:30am
J6: 1km Interval Start Classic
J5: 1km Interval Start Classic
J4: 3km Interval Start Classic
J3: 3km Interval Start Classic
J2: 5km Interval Start Classic
J1F: 5km Interval Start Classic
OJF: 5km Interval Start Classic
J1M: 10km Interval Start Classic
OJM: 10km Interval Start Classic
Saturday Afternoon Coaches meeting: 2pm: CB Community School. RM. # TBD
Saturday Evening: 4:00: Awards Ceremony, Dinner and Naming of JO Teams
Location: Crested Butte Community Schools
Time: 4:00pm
Cost: $12 per person
Dinner: Pasta, Lasagna, Salad, Bread, Water, Juice, Desert, etc. TBD
