Scott Havlick's report on the J1/OJ Girls' race:

"For me one of the most exciting races of the Super JOQ weekend (and honestly probably the most exciting women's XC ski race I've seen all year) was the 10K Classic race for the J1/OJ girls.  Quickly Sarah MacCarthy put down the hammer and by the time the field had reached the top of course back in the hollow, it was clear only three other skiers could hang: the amazing Perkins girls and Mali Noyes of Sun Valley.  

"In the end, those four toasted the field by more than 90 seconds and it was Noyes putting on a burst up the last steep climb to tarnish a full RMNordic sweep."
